Scattered Showers & T-Storms This Evening -Bill Graul
Breezy & Cooler For Our Monday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 56F / Monday’s Forecast High: 69F…
Well… it only took 20 days, but we finally had a BELOW average high temperature at the La Crosse airport this month!
A cold front is tracking east across the region this evening, resulting in scattered showers and t-storms. Some of the storms could be strong in spots through about 9 p.m. or so, with gusty winds around 30-45 mph… brief heavy rain and perhaps some small hail. It will be mainly dry across the region after midnight, with lows ranging from the upper 40s (north) to the mid 50s.
Breezy and cooler Monday with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will only be in the 65-70F range to welcome in “astronomical” summer. Winds will be from the NW around 10-20 mph, with gusts around 30 mph possible.
Looking Ahead… Isolated t-showers possible later Tuesday, with a slight chance of showers lingering into Wednesday morning. Otherwise, highs will warm back into the 70s Tuesday, then seasonable low-mid 80s on Wednesday.
It will be seasonably warm and more humid later in the week. Also expect a chance of scattered showers and storms Thursday, with just isolated storms possible Friday. Isolated t-showers will be possible Saturday as well as a cool front breaks the humidity a bit. Sunday is looking dry with highs in the mid 80s, then temps will top out near 90F next Monday.
Have a good night and a great week ahead! Hope all you Dad’s out there had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend! -Bill Graul
