Schneider, Konradt share why they think La Crosse voters should support them in La Crosse mayoral race
Ten candidates are on the ballot for Mayor
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Ten candidates are on the ballot for February’s primary election.
Of those ten, two will advance to April’s general election.
Sam Schneider owns ‘All Around Cleaning Crew’ in La Crosse.
We asked Schneider why people should vote for him.
“I believe in speaking for the people. I believe in listening to the people first. That is my foundation point. I did not decide to run until I knew that there were some issues that were not being addressed. That there were concerns that were not being talked about,” said La Crosse mayoral candidate Sam Schneider.
Long time member in the banking community Joe Konradt filed his paper work in early January.
News 8 Now also asked Konradt why people should vote for him.
“In the short term, we’re all worried about COVID. And I think there is a lot of things the city can do to help people recover from it. We need to be very inviting for the business to reopen. I think long term, the biggest issue in La Crosse is property taxes,” said La Crosse Mayoral Candidate Joe Konradt.
