Seasonably Warm Start To Workweek
High Today: 86F / Low Tonight: 65F – Last updated Monday, July 8, 2019 at 8:45 AM…
It will be seasonably warm to start the workweek, under sunny to partly cloudy skies. Expect highs in the mid 80s and it will be a bit more humid than the weekend, but still not bad for July.
Mostly clear tonight with lows in the low-mid 80s, but mid-upper 50s are possible in traditional cooler spots north and east. It won’t be overly humid tonight.
Increasing clouds and humidity Tuesday with highs in the low-mid 80s. A disturbance will approach from the west and bring a slight chance of showers and t-storms after about 3 or 4pm, especially in western parts of the viewing area. The rain chances may not reach the La Crosse area until after about 6pm or so.
The chance for showers and t-storms then spreads east across the entire area Tuesday evening and into the overnight. Chance of showers and t-storms will continue on Wednesday as well, but there will also be some dry time. Highs Wednesday will be in the upper 70s to low 80s.
Looking Ahead… Thursday and Friday are looking dry at this point and also less humid. Highs Thursday will be around 80F, then mid 80s on Friday.
Warmer and more humid again by the weekend and into the start of next week. Highs will be in the mid-upper 80s, perhaps flirting with 90F in some spots. With the warmth and humidity will come at least small chances for showers and t-storms each day, but also expect plenty of dry time.
Have a good Monday and a great week ahead! -Bill Graul
