Sectional qualifying Monday for US Open at Erin Hills

ERIN, Wis. (AP) – Sectional qualifying will take place on Monday for the U.S. Open, which will be held in a couple weeks at Erin Hills.

There are 10 sectional qualifying sites spread out across the country, including Memphis, Tennessee. It is where Wisconsin native and PGA Tour regular Steve Stricker has entered to qualify for the first Open in his home state.

Other sectional qualifying sites are in California, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, Texas and Washington, along with two sites in Ohio. Qualifying will be conducted over 36 holes.

The U.S. Open begins at Erin Hills on June 15.
