Sen. Tammy Baldwin calls on Wisconsinites to vote

WISCONSIN (WKBT) — The Democratic Senator from Wisconsin is also getting the word out about election day.

Senator Tammy Baldwin spoke with us today about what to expect in this election.

She says Wisconsin as a swing state consistently has tight races, but so much is at stake this year.

Baldwin says every Wisconsinite–no matter their political knowledge–should hit the polls.

“It’s easy to vote, you can vote early and so we’re just spreading the word, especially among folks who just turned 18 or 19 and this is their first election, they need to register,” said Baldwin.

Early voting in La Crosse ended at 5 p.m. on Friday, but of course, you can still vote at your polling place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8.
