…A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON AND NORTHWESTERN JUNEAU COUNTIES…

At 519 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles west of Pittsville to Babcock to 7 miles
southwest of New Rome, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Law enforcement.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Jackson and northwestern Juneau Counties, including the
following locations: City Point, Finley, New Miner, Potters Flowage
and The Meadow Valley Flowage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
