“Share the Love” donation to Family & Children’s Center
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A donation of more than $17,000 will help La Crosse’s Family & Children’s Center in its mission to prevent child abuse in our community.
Dahl Subaru presented a check to the organization on Tuesday. The money was generated during the “Share the Love” charitable campaign. It’s a national effort by Subaru, when a donation is made to either a national or local charity for every new car that’s sold. Dahl Subaru matched $5,000 generated by sales in the La Crosse area.
The donation will be used for maintaining a Family & Children’s Center program that intervenes if abuse occurs and the Hope Academy, an educational program for teen parents.
“It’s really important that we support our young communities, grow them, strengthen them from the heart, so we really can help build a much stronger community,” says Tyler Dahl, the General Manager of Dahl Subaru.
This is not the first time Dahl Subaru has worked with the Family & Children’s Center as part of the “Share the Love” campaign. Over the past three years, the dealership has donated more than $45,000 to the non-profit organization.
