Shawna I. Young

Shawna I. Young, age 34, of Boscobel, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Gundersen Hospital in LaCrosse surrounded by her family. She was born on March 14, 1985 in Lancaster, Wisconsin. She lived in Boscobel all of her life and graduated from Boscobel High School. She received a degree from Capri College in Massage Therapy. Shawna loved hunting, fishing, painting, and spending time with Jaxon and Justin, and all of her family.

Shawna’s life will forever be cherished by her son, Jaxon Wiest of Boscobel; her parents, Jeff and Donna (Chappell) Young of Boscobel; Paternal Grandmother, Miona Young of Boscobel; three sisters: Stephanie (Buck) Roth of Gays Mills, Tina (Joe) Belz of Boscobel, Tracy (Caleb) Jacobus of Soldiers Grove; her life partner, Justin Wiest of Boscobel; his parents Bill and Deb Wiest of Boscobel; his brothers, Eric Wiest and Christopher (Alania) Wiest both of Boscobel; nieces and nephews: Wyatt, Grace, Owen and Elizabeth Roth; Lauren, Evan, Lydia and Ella Belz; Gavin, Cullen, Cora, Quinn and Liam Jacobus; Ryan and Payton Wiest; Rhiannon Wiest; and special friend, Ashley Randall and Darcy Chappell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel with Father Christopher Padilla. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of serve at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the “Family of Shawna Young” and will be used for a trust fund for Jaxon . The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel is assisting the family.
