Shilling re-elected as minority leader in Wisconsin Senate

La Crosse will once again have an elected official in a leadership role in Madison.

Democratic Senator Jennifer Shilling was re-elected as minority leader in the Wisconsin Senate.

Shilling says with Democratic Governor-Elect Tony Evers getting ready to take office, the democratic minority may see more for their agenda approved.

“We will have a roll to play, certainly as we look at compromise and we look at issues that really the public wants us to work on and be problem solvers,” said Wisconsin Senator Jennifer Shilling.

Shilling was first elected Wisconsin senate minority leader in 2015.
