Shirley M. Gelbach

Shirley M. Gelbach age 87 of Prairie du Chien passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the Orchard Manor Care Center in Lancaster, WI. She was born April 19, 1932 in Lancaster, the daughter of Parke and Lillian (Cox) Gelbach Sr. Shirley worked at the Opportunity Center in Prairie du Chien for over 36 years. She is survived by nephews, Greg and Randy Gelbach, a niece Sheri Breuer, several great nieces and nephews, her dear friends Mary and Ken Stoeffler. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Parke (Adeline) Gelbach Jr. and Robert (Jean) Gelbach, her special friend Agnes Gillitzer along with her faithful companion “Towser”.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 20, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, Msgr. Charles Stoetzel officiating with burial in the Hillside Cemetery in Lancaster, WI. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
