La Crosse shoe drive to help future community events
The La Crosse Jaycees is holding a Shoes With Heart Shoe Drive Fundraiser starting on Thursday
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) -A local shoe drive can help raise money for future community projects. The La Crosse Jaycees is holding a Shoes With Heart Shoe Drive Fundraiser starting on Thursday.
It will be throughout all of April and through May 30th. The group is asking for gently worn, used, or new shoes.
Through Funds2Orgs, an organization that helps small businesses, the Jaycees will be getting funds based on the total weight of all the donated shoes.
This money can be used for many things, including upcoming community events for the organization. There will be barrel locations at various businesses in La Crosse, Onalaska, and Holmen.
