UPDATE: Silver Alert canceled after 81-year-old woman is found safe
VIROQUA, Wis. (WKBT) — UPDATE: A Silver Alert for 81-year-old Norma Jean Oswald has been canceled after she was found safe in Waushara County Saturday morning.
ORIGINAL STORY:
The Vernon County Sheriff’s office has issued a Silver Alert for 81-year-old Norma Jean Oswald, who left the La Farge area sometime between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday.
Oswald, who is 5-feet-3 and weighs 140 pounds, has gray hair and brown eyes.
She has memory issues and was last seen southbound on State Hwy. 131 between La Farge and Viola. She is driving a 2011 red Ford Taurus, with the license plate 704CCZ.
The car has a chihuahua bobblehead figure in the rear window and floral seat covers.
Anyone who sees Oswald or has information about her is asked to call the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office at (608) 637-2123.
