Snow needs to be cleared from La Crosse sidewalks follow end of snow fall
A Sand and Salt mixture is available at four locations in the city.
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Don’t forget about snow on your sidewalk.
In La Crosse, snow must be cleared from sidewalks within 24 hours after the snowfall ends.
If you don’t you face fines and the city may remove the snow at your expense.
A Sand and Salt mixture is available at four locations in the city.
- Fire Station 4 – 906 Gillette St.
- Fire Station 2 – 626 Monitor St.
- Erickson Field parking lot (north end off of 21st Pl. S.)
- SE corner of Hood St. and Marco Dr.
Any getting the mixture needs to bring their own container.
