Sole Burner in Chaseburg Village Park honors cancer survivors
LA CROSSE (WKBT) – The American Cancer Society’s Sole Burner Event happens Saturday in Chaseburg.
Along with honoring cancer survivors, participants can spread the word about reducing cancer risks and help raise money too.
“It’s a community day,” said Sole Burner Co-Chair Linda DeGarmo. “It’s a day of healing, it’s a day of hope, it’s a day of tears. It’s a day of laughter. We celebrate survivors and we welcome everyone.”
This will be the 17th year for the Sole Burner.
It will be held from 11 A.M. to 8 P.M.
