Sparta hosts annual Crazy Daze event Saturday

Shopping passports could lead to prizes

SPARTA, Wis. (WKBT) — Sparta hosts its annual Crazy Daze shopping event Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Visitors can get a Crazy Daze shopping passport at any store taking part, then get it stamped by visiting all the shops on the card. Turning in the card enters you to win all sorts of prizes.

Stores will hold sidewalk sales and downtown will host food trucks, a farmer’s market, street musicians, and other family-friendly activities.

The Sparta Chamber of Commerce and Sparta’s Downtown Cooperative organized the festivities.

Local stores participating in Crazy Daze include Eddie’s Convenience Store, Second Season, Sparta Floral & Greenhouses, Ginny’s Cupboard, Search and Find LLC, Diver G Entertainment, J- Mart Japanese/Asian Grocery, Gamers Sanctum, A Healthy Touch Massage and Yoga Studio, Sears Hometown Store, Sparta Wisconsin Farmers Market, and Wesco Home Furnishings.
