Sparta native provides dental assistance in Vietnam through multinational humanitarian program
PHU YEN, Vietnam (WKBT) — The U.S. Navy featured a Sparta native in his role providing dental assistance abroad.
U.S. Navy outreach shared a photo of Cmdr. Daniel Fuhrmann Tuesday of his work providing dental assistance to a child in Vietnam through the Pacific Partnership 2022.

PHU YEN, Vietnam (June 28, 2022) – Cmdr. Daniel Fuhrmann, from Sparta, Wisconsin, provide dental care to a child at Phu Yen General Hospital during Pacific Partnership 2022
Now in its 17th year, the partnership is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific, Navy officials say.
