La Crescent Applefest runs Sept. 18-21
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The 66th annual Applefest in La Crescent runs Thursday, September 18- Sunday, September 21.
You’ll need a button to get onto the grounds. You can buy them for $5 at La Crescent businesses until 12 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18. They will be $7 at the gate on the fest grounds near the beer tent starting at 4 p.m.
The 19th annual Applefest Scenic 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 8:30 a.m. at Quillin’s on Main Street in La Crescent. For more information visit applefestscenic5k.com.
The King Apple Parade begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday. It starts at Main and Elm and ends at La Crescent High School. The 2014 Applefest Parade Marshals are Bob and Theresa Ratigan.
The 2014 Apple Annie is Sarah Severson. The Apple Annies are the ambassadors of song for Applefest and the City of La Crescent.
