…A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN LA CROSSE AND
NORTHWESTERN VERNON COUNTIES…

At 1114 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Hokah, or 8
miles southwest of La Crescent, moving east at 25 mph.

Dime size hail is possible with this storm.

This storm will be near…
Brownsville and La Crosse Airport around 1135 PM CDT.
La Crosse, French Island, Stoddard and Onalaska around 1140 PM
CDT.
Coon Valley and Bangor around 1200 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Medary, Chaseburg,
Brinkman Ridge, Irish Hill and North Side Of La Crosse.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
