…Minor Flooding of Low Lying Areas…

Recent rain on frozen ground has resulted in ponding of water on
parts of roadways and ditches. Runoff from the rain has also caused
rivers,streams and creeks to rise to near bankfull across the
area. Minor flooding of low lying areas has been reported along
the South Fork Baraboo River near Hillsboro. Also…any ice
flowing within the rivers, streams and creeks may cause higher
water levels. Do not drive cars into area of high water and be
alert for high or rising water levels on area rivers, streams and
creeks.
