…Reduced Visibilities in Patchy Dense Fog Early This Morning…
Fog persisted across much of the area early this morning. Some of
the fog was locally dense with visibilities of 1/4 mile or less.
Much of the thicker fog remained across the higher terrain areas
of southeast Minnesota and on ridge tops into western Wisconsin.
Most of the fog will lift and dissipate by 8 am.
If traveling or on your commute this morning, be alert for
reduced and changing visibilities in fog. If you encounter dense
fog, slow down and allow some extra travel time to reach your
destination.
