…STRONG THUNDERSTORMS AFFECTING PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA
AND NORTHEAST IOWA…

At 941 PM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Houston to near Fredericksburg to
near Lamont. Movement was east at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include…
La Crosse, Decorah, Oelwein, La Crescent, Waukon, Cresco, New
Hampton, Caledonia, West Union, Guttenberg, Elkader, Lansing,
Postville, Rushford, Monona, Fayette, Spring Grove, Strawberry Point,
Fairbank and Harmony.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northeastern Iowa…southeastern Minnesota…and southwestern and
west central Wisconsin.
