Sports Spotlight 5-13: Onalaska’s Kenzie, Lexi Miller

Our latest nomination is a set of twins who’ve had plenty of success for Onalaska the last few years: Kenzie and Lexi Miller.

The Millers are missing out on their final spring soccer season after being on varsity since freshman year. The two played midfield and were part of a team last spring that won the MVC title and made it all the way to the sectional final. They were hoping for one final shot to make it to state.

Kenzie and Lexi were also key players for Onalaska girls basketball the last four years, each averaging close to 10 points a game. The Hilltoppers didn’t make it to state, but reached two sectional finals and two sectional semifinals in their career.

In addition to their time in soccer and basketball, the twins were members of the National Honor Society and will graduate from Onalaska with highest honors. Those close to Kenzie and Lexi say that they’ve learned how to be leaders on and off the court, as well as the importance of hard work, discipline and time management. Their basketball career will continue in college, as both are headed to Newberry College in South Carolina to play Division II hoops. Lexi will be majoring in biology on a pre-veterinary track, and Kenzie will be a bio major with a pre-med track.
