Annual event raises money for Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul
MINNESOTA/WISCONSIN (WKBT) – If you are driving along the Mississippi River Saturday, be prepared to share the road with a lot of motorcycles during the annual Flood Run.
Riders start in the Twin Cities and head down to Winona.
The annual event, launched to help the Winona area sandbag during the floods of 1965, now raises money for Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul.
Riders and motorists should exercise extreme caution this weekend along the Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers as motorcyclists ride in the Annual Flood Run on Saturday, April 16. The route spans historically attracts thousands of riders. More info: https://t.co/RWUkz4pEDN pic.twitter.com/rvOloHETuH
