State Road Elementary principal resigns suddenly

Dave Gluch resigns after sudden leave of absence

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The School District of La Crosse has received an official letter of resignation from State Road Elementary School Principal Dave Gluch. 

A statement sent out by Randy Nelson late Wednesday evening informed parents of his sudden leave of absence due to a ‘personal inquiry’.

“Right now, it is important for me to focus on my family and health,” shared Mr. Gluch in his resignation.

Mr. Gluch has served as principal since July 1, 2001. During his tenure with the district, Mr. Gluch served as Summer School Coordinator and led the district’s Positive Behavior Intervention Support implementation.

Mrs. Shelley Healy, State Road first grade teacher, has accepted the role of Interim Principal through the remainder of the 2015-16 school year.
