FSC’s annual Stations of the Cross walk in La Crosse recalls Jesus’ trek
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Dozens of people marked Good Friday by walking the Stations of the Cross during the Franciscan Spirituality Center’s annual 2-mile prayer walk to contemplate Jesus’ journey.
Organizers say in addition to marking the Christian holiday, the walk also gets members of the community to think about the suffering others may be going through.
“It’s important,” said FSC director Jean Pagliaro. “It means that people are paying attention. That they are willing to hold in prayer people and places in the community.”
The free event was open to the public.
