Steppin’ out in Pink celebrates 15 years and goes virtual
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Steppin’ out in Pink kicks off in a few weeks, and because the event is virtual this year, picking up your shirt will look slightly different.
The t-shirts will be available for pick-up via a drive thru option or home delivery. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the event, and although it looks different, the same mission to honor survivors and support local breast cancer research remains the same.
“We’re just really grateful that our community has supported us through these times, especially over the last 15 years. And I know our survivors in the area appreciate it,” said Tia Sneath, Development Specialist for Gundersen Health System.
Participants will be walking for breast cancer heroes between September first through the 12th.
Those still looking to participate in the event can go to steppinoutinpinkdot.org to sign up.
