Steppin’ Out In Pink to move to new location, Riverside Park, in September

Event raises money to support breast cancer research at the Gundersen Norma J. Vinger Center for Breast Care

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Steppin’ Out In Pink, which previously started at the Gundersen Health System campus in La Crosse,  is on the move to a new location.

The Sept. 10 event will start in La Crosse’s Riverside Park.

Steppers will continue into the La Crosse Marsh and eventually finish the walk back at Riverside.

The new location will allow the event to grow.

“The space allows us to have a lot more fluidity,” said Tia Sneath, special events program coordinator for the Gundersen Medical Foundation, which sponsors the walk. “The trails are beautifully done through the city. So we’re excited to showcase what La Crosse is all about with this event.”
