Storytellers from all across the country come to La Crosse for a storytelling festival

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)- Today, the 18th Annual La Crosse Storytelling Festival took place at the Pump House Regional Arts Center.

Musicians, magicians, and storytellers from all over the country come to La Crosse to help tell educational, scary, and many other types of stories to entertain the La Crosse Area.

Event organizers say that telling stories is an art that has been around for a long time and that it’s something that can impact people of all ages.

“Storytelling is for everyone and it’s an art that has been around since people started communicating. Every culture has told stories, they might not have all had the wheel, but they’ve all told stories,” said La Crosse Storytelling Festival organizer, Terry Visger.

There is still time to attend the festival as the last event is scheduled to start just before 9 PM tonight.
