Strong Storms For Some This Evening -Bill Graul
Dry & Less Humid Thursday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 64F / Thursday’s Forecast High: 82F…
ALERT DAY continues for this evening due to the chance for strong storms to impact parts of the area, especially near and south of I-90. The greatest threat this evening will be locally heavy rainfall that could cause urban and street flooding. Also keep an eye on small creeks and drainage areas where heavy rainfall occurs. The threat for severe storms is minimal and should mainly remain to our south.
The showers and storms should taper around midnight or shortly after, with mostly cloudy skies overnight. Lows will fall into the mid 50s (north/east) to the low-mid 60s.
Thursday will be dry and less humid with a mix of clouds and sun. Expect highs in the upper 70s to low 80s, making for a nice summer day. Partly cloudy Friday with highs in the low-mid 80s.
Looking Ahead… The weekend is looking dry and warm with mostly sunny skies. Highs will be in the mid 80s Saturday, then upper 80s on Sunday. Mostly sunny and hot on Monday, with highs around 90F.
Hot with increasing humidity next Tuesday through Thursday, with highs in the low 90s for many. Tuesday looks dry, with just isolated t-showers possible Wednesday and Thursday.
Have a good night! -Bill Graul
