US signs asylum deal with Honduras

The Department of Homeland Security announced Wednesday that it has struck an agreement with Honduras designed to curb migration to the US, marking the latest in a string of accords with Central American countries.

Father, daughter's bodies returned to El Salvador

The bodies of Oscar Alberto Martinez and his 23-month-old daughter, Angie Valeria, were returned home to their native El Salvador on Sunday, according to El Salvador's Secretary of Communications for the President, one week after they died trying to cross the US border.
