Inmate indicted in death of Iowa woman who vanished in 2000
TAMA, Iowa (AP) — A federal inmate from Iowa has been charged with murder in the death of his fiancee, who vanished without a trace in 2000.A state grand jury returned an indictment against Tait Purk in the disappearance of Tama waitress and mother Cora Okonski, whose body has never been found.Authorities announced last month that a recent review concluded her disappearance wasn't voluntary, and that the case had been reclassified as a homicide.
