Sentencing set for former officer in drunken driving case
NEWTON, Iowa (AP) — A former Newton police officer is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 28 for driving drunk and having a weapon in his pickup.The Newton Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/2hnrAbM ) that 30-year-old Dustin Hamell pleaded guilty to both charges.
