Taste of the Coulee Region coming Thursday
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — If you like food, wine and beer, you can enjoy all three in one place for a good cause.
YWCA La Crosse will host its 7th annual ‘Taste of the Coulee Region’ benefit on French Island Thursday night.
For the price of admission, you can sample items from nearly two dozen food and beverage vendors from La Crosse and Trempealeau counties with the proceeds going to YWCA and its programs.
“We focus on advocating for families and women in the area as well as working with teen girls, so all of the proceeds from the event go straight to that programming so anyone who will be there tasting, will be supporting that mission,” said Rose Reinert, YWCA La Crosse Development Director.
The event is June 7 and tickets for admission are $30 in advance or $40 at the door.
