Tavern League partners with La Crosse County Health Department

LA CROSSE, Wis (WKBT) – The La Crosse County Health Department is teaming up with the Tavern League to make sure people go out safely.

They’ll be launching an ad campaign to remind people to bring a mask. But if you forget, the tavern league has purchased masks for the businesses they represent.

So you can ask for a mask if you don’t have one.

The county health department says businesses are doing what they can and customers also have to be responsible.

“It’s not just on those that own those establishments. Its also about the customer base, and them taking actions to do the right thing as well,” said Jen Rombaloski, director of the La Crosse County Health Department.

County Health officials remind us that tackling the coronavirus pandemic will take a community effort.
