Tax filing deadline coming soon for filers in Wisconsin, Minnesota and across the U.S.
The tax deadline was extended by May 17th
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKBT) – Time is running out to file 2020 taxes.
The federal tax deadline is May 17th.
That is also the deadline for Wisconsin and Minnesota filers.
The extension was granted again this year because of the pandemic.
As of early May, 2.5 million tax filers in Wisconsin have submitted returns out of an expected three million.
Anyone in Wisconsin still needing assistance can find links to free tax help sites on the state Department of Revenue website.
In Minnesota, tax information can be found on the state’s Department of Revenue website.
