The tax deadline was extended by May 17th

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKBT) – Time is running out to file 2020 taxes.

The federal tax deadline is May 17th.

That is also the deadline for Wisconsin and Minnesota filers.

The extension was granted again this year because of the pandemic.

As of early May, 2.5 million tax filers in Wisconsin have submitted returns out of an expected three million.
