Teens can sign up for WisCorps’ La Crosse Mayor’s Crew

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Applications are now open for WisCorps’ summer La Crosse Mayor’s Crew program.

Mayor’s Crew Members make a positive impact in La Crosse public lands, community spaces, and neighborhoods through a diverse set of projects. These projects focus on caring for the environment, helping community members, and assisting local non-profit organizations. In addition to work projects, Crew Members experience a wide variety of learning experiences including environmental education, career exploration, and outdoor recreation.

The Crew Member position is service-oriented, where there are opportunities to grow professionally and personally while contributing to the community.

Positions are open to all 16-18-year-olds who attend a La Crosse high school. Positions are being filled currently so visit wiscorps.org/mayors to apply today. Additionally, WisCorps will be hosting La Crosse Mayor’s Crew Info Nights at Myrick Park Center on May 10th and May 17th at 4 and 7 PM with open interviews.
