Temperatures Might Be Cooler, but the UV Index is Still High – Isabella Hulsizer
Very High UV Index
Today the UV Index is at a level 8, which is considered very high. Being outside for 10-25 minutes could leave you with burned skin. It’s important to take breaks and wear sunscreen today.
Cooler Temps
Across the region cool, dry air has kept temperatures lower than average. Many of us will struggle once again to reach the upper 70s today. The good news is that warmer temps will return later this week, as early as tomorrow. The average for this time of year tends to be around 84°F. We’ll see that temperature tomorrow as well as into next week.
