Terry Frank Leininger

It is with great sadness that the family of Terry Frank Leininger announce his sudden passing on October 18th, 2022. He was 71 at the time of his death.

Terry was born August 30,1951 in Leroy Mn to Clifton and Mary Ellen Leininger. He attended Elkton highschool where he graduated in 1969. On March 25, 1971 Terry enlisted in the air force where he served his country for 6 years. He served as an aircraft mechanic and loved it. After his time in the Air Force he returned to Mn where he worked as an auto mechinac. In 1983 Terry married his first wife and together they had two children; Nicholas and Catherine. On December 11,1993 Terry married the love of his life Darene (Dee) and they blended their families as one. Dee had four children Tina, Barb, Mary and Emerson. He worked as a mechanic until he retired. After retirement Terry and Dee moved back to the family farm in Dexter, Mn. He loved to help his grandchildren with their vehicles and could always be found out in the garage working on a car for someone or tinkering with a project. Besides his passion for working on cars Terry loved to go fishing and spent many summer days out on the lake with his family catching fish, telling fish stories and chasing skunks away from the campsite. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Terry is survived by his children Nicholas (Suzanne) Leininger, Catherine Ableman (nee Leininger), Tina (nee Marlowe) & Mike Mann, Barb Dudley (nee Marlowe), Mary (nee Marlowe) & Sherwin Samaniego, and Emerson Marlowe. Sister Sharon Wright (nee Leininger), brother Brian (Cathy) Leininger. Grandchildren; Jacob, Hunter, Avery, Brock, Chase, Beau, Katrina, Cassie, Cory, Becca, Eve, Samantha, Christian, Victoria, Sabian, Sam, Ashley, Dylan. Great grandchildren Hunter and Adley.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Mary Ellen, Wife Dee, Brother in law Lee Wright, Uncle Reno Leininger.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
