Testing held at Fort McCoy for special skills badges
FORT McCOY, Wis. (WKBT) – The U.S. Army Reserve and Army Reserve Medical Command held testing at Fort McCoy for two special skills badges this week.
The Expert Field Medical Badge showcases a mastery of medical skills.
The Expert Soldier Badge recognizes soldiers who demonstrate excellence.
“It’s vigorous, and it’s not given to anyone. You have to really earn this badge. Most of the badge holders who I’ve encountered, they’ve earned it,” said Staff Sgt. Samuel Warsley, an EFMB competitor.
This is the second year of testing for the Expert Field Medical Badge and the first for the Expert Soldier Badge.
