Three arrested, one with a handgun, following fight on La Crosse’s South Side
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — La Crosse police arrested three people following a fight Monday afternoon.
Officers responded at 12:24 p.m. to the 800 block of Fifth Avenue South for a physical altercation, according to police. Officers arrested 36-year-old Chauncey Winters, who police say was involved in the fight and holding a handgun. Winters faces charges of battery and disorderly conduct as well as possession of a firearm by a felon and probation violation.
Officers arrested two others, 47-year-old Paul Thomas and 41-year-old Jessica Mina, on what police said were unrelated charges. Thomas faces a charge of disorderly conduct. Police arrested Mina on a warrant for methamphetamine charges.
