Some scattered thunderstorms are possible later this afternoon and evening across the Coulee Region. Some of the storms could turn strong.

Showers and thunderstorms this morning to the north is ahead of a cold front. This front is forecast to help set off more storms later this afternoon and early this evening.

Cloudy skies for most of us this morning with a slight chance for showers as most of the rain and storms is focused north. Later this afternoon a better chance for showers and thunderstorms with highs in the mid 80s.
Severe Weather Potential Today
A level 2 slight risk is in effect for most of the Coulee Region this afternoon and evening. This means that scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats with these storms today.
Next 8 Days
Highs will drop to the low 80s behind the front Friday and Saturday. Another chance of thunderstorms is possible Sunday and Monday, more chances again mid to late next week. High temperatures will remain in the 80s and lows in the 60s.
