Toddler hurt in Minneapolis shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minneapolis police are searching for a suspect after three people including a toddler were shot on the city’s north side.
Police spokeswoman Cyndi Barrington says all three victims are expected to survive.
Barrington says the shooting was reported around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2900 block of Lyndale Avenue North.
A group was outside near a parked car when a man began shooting. The man then ran away.
A 14-month-old girl was shot in the upper shoulder and a woman in her 20s was shot in a leg. Both were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.
A 17-year-old boy also was shot in the leg. He was taken by private vehicle to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
