Tomah city leaders break ground on new emergency services building
TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT) — Tomah fire and emergency services departments soon will operate under one roof.
City leaders broke ground Thursday on a new emergency services building near the site formerly known as Glendale Ball Park.
The project has been in the works for several years, said Tomah Public Safety Director Tim Adler.
“We’ve just simply outgrown the current facilities that we’re at,” Adler said. “And it’s going to give us the ability to manage both the fire and EMS department under one roof, bringing things together going into the future.”
The project is expected to be completed by June 2023, Adler said.
