Tomah comeback falls short, DeForest pulls off regional upset

No. 4 seed DeForest softball upset No. 1 seed Tomah softball in WIAA regional action Wednesday in Tomah by a score of 4-3.

The Norskies built a 4-0 lead before Lauren Noth delivered a two-RBI knock in the third inning. Noth would later add a sacrifice fly in the fifth to make the score 4-3.

DeForest center fielder Trysten Schroeder made a diving catch for the final out of the game.
