Tomah man pleads guilty to child internet sex crime

LA CROSSE, Wis. — A Tomah man caught by police while trying to meet a young girl on the internet for sex pleads guilty.

Chris Lindbom was arrested in November 2011 when he tried to meet who he thought was a young girl for sex in Onalaska. The young girl was actually an investigator with the Door County Sheriff’s Department.

After arranging a place to meet with Lindbom, who lived in Menomonie at the time, the investigator coordinated an arrest with the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department and Onalaska and West Salem Police.

Lindbom is scheduled for sentencing September 5.
