Town of Campbell Library moving to bigger space
TOWN OF CAMPBELL, WI — 9,000 items in a local library are finding a new home.
The Town of Campbell Library is moving out of the town hall and into the new library at 2548 Lakeshore Drive.
Volunteers, including firefighters, are getting the boxes moved.
Librarians say they had outgrown the space.
The size of the building is double what they had in the town hall. And even though that doesn’t mean twice as much selection to choose from, there’s plenty to offer. “We’ll be able to expand our public computer access, places for people to actually come in and sit down and do their homework or work on things, group tables to hang out at,” said the Director of La Crosse Co. Libraries Chris McArdle Rojo.
They’re hoping to start some unpacking Wednesday. It will re-open in its new space in about two weeks.
