Tradehome Shoes donates 2,000 socks to Family & Children’s Center
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — A La Crosse shoe store is doubling down on its effort to help the community.
For the second year in a row, Tradehome Shoes made a big sock donation to the Family and Children’s Center.
In 2021, Tradehome donated 600 pairs.
This year, the store more than doubled its effort, donating 2,000 pairs of socks.
Family and Children’s Center employees say they are grateful they can now provide their clients with a small, but special gift.
“We have clients that have lots of needs and the impact of socks is amazing and it goes a lot further than one would think,” said Tita Yutuc, president and CEO of Family & Children’s Center.
In addition to socks, Family and Children’s Center will give their clients hats and gloves.
