Traveling safe during labor day weekend
Wisconsin (WKBT) – The emergency room is no place to spend the final holiday weekend of the summer.
AAA says about 32% of the country’s population will travel this weekend, and 82% of them will do so by motor vehicle.
According to Dr. Hee Soo Jung, trauma surgeon, of UW Health there is a lot of opportunity for something to go wrong on the road,
“Your holiday will be much more enjoyable if you don’t have to spend it in the emergency room because of a vehicle crash related to alcohol, or perhaps have an even worse outcome.”
