Trempealeau County board rejects Second Amendment sanctuary resolution
Resolution voted down, 12-4, with one member abstaining.
WHITEHALL, Wis. (WKBT) – Trempealeau County will not be a Second Amendment sanctuary, after the county board rejected a resolution to declare it so.
The vote was 12-4, with one abstention.
The move was largely symbolic.
The board also voted 9-4 to reject an amendment to schedule the sanctuary issue for a public referendum.
