Trempealeau County man sentenced to 18 years in child sexual assault case

MADISON (WKBT) — A Trempealeau County. Wis., man will spend 18 years in prison for producing child pornography.

Levi A. Robb, 41, who pleaded guilty to the charge on Jan. 5, also was sentenced 20 years of supervised release.

Eau Claire County investigators arrested Robb in 2020 after a 10-year-old girl accused him of a sexual assault that occurred several years earlier, according to a news release from the Western District Court of Wisconsin, where he was sentenced.

During the girl’s forensic interview, she also reported that he took pictures of the assault. Upon seizure of his phone, investigators did not find images of the assault, but found other images of child pornography after Robb was released on a signature bond.

Officers re-arrested Robb for possession of child pornography, during which they found him in possession of another phone that contained explicit images of the 10-year-old girl. The images were made when she was between 5 and 7 years old, according to court records.

Judge William Conley called Robb’s conduct “reprehensible beyond words” and said the gravity of the defendant’s conduct warranted a sentence above the mandatory minimum the law recommends.
